James Finn, aIA

I am a registered architect in Virginia, providing full-service architectural services from schematic design through construction drawings and construction administration. Primarily focusing on residential architecture, I have designed hundreds of projects ranging from renovations to new homes for both homeowners and developers.

Prior to launching James Finn Architect, I spent over twenty years working for architecture and design build firms in the Washington, DC area. I have experience in all local jurisdictions including working with the City of Alexandria's Board of Architectural Review, and the Commission of Fine Arts in Washington, DC.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia, and a Master of Architecture from Virginia Tech.
